IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ ;

The game is split into 2 versions, the web and the downloadable.

-Browser version: ONLY contain core systems and gameplay. You just choose a map and go shoot some enemies right away without having to watch long cutscenes. Enabling  'Always dash' in the option menu is highly recommended. 

-Downloadable version: Contain cutscenes and story along with gameplay. It is highly recommended that you play the web version first before playing this one.

Synopsis:

MagiCat Mikka is an RPG maker action shooter game where you play as a cat who likes to shoot and scratch at bad evil monsters!

Story:

The world is a beautiful place where people live in peace and harmony.

....Until their dimension collided with another one! When this happens, natural disasters and various oddities will soon follow!

Luckily, we have Mikka, an ordinary housecat who turned out to be not-so-ordinary in these strange times. With the power of the great magician, she transforms into a human with super magical abilities!

This time her quest is to battle the inhabitants from the distant dimension. These are like humans, but their body is composed entirely out of solid materials such as stone, silver, gold or even diamond!

Will she be able to complete her quest? You, the player, will be the one who decides that!

Mechanics :

Battle - This game uses an 'ABS' or 'Action Battle System' where you fight enemies in real-time.  You can shoot an unlimited amount of magical projectile, use claws to attack enemies, and consume an item to perform a special ability.

Perks - When you level up to a certain point, you will be able to get a 'perk'. Each perk is unique and has its own uses, be it offensively or defensively.

Ranking - Each time you cleared a dungeon, you will be scored and ranked based on your performance. You get points when you defeat enemies, but lose them when you get hit or take too long.

Controls :

Arrow Keys - Movement 

Shift - Walk

X - Menu

Crtl - Direction fix

A - Aim (You DO NOT have to hold this button.)

S - Use claws (You DO NOT have to hold this button.)

C - Use special abilities 

Z - Interact, attack (You can hold this button to attack continuously)

Average Playtime: 30-60 Minutes (Downloadable version)

Only the prologue is available so far, but chapter 1 can still be played in older versions.

What's new in v.0.1.3

-Storyline has been overhauled. It should be more coherent and less confusing now.

-Make cutscenes shorter. And you will now be able to get into gameplay within 4-10 minutes after starting the game.

-The first dungeon has been reworked. It's now much larger and included a boss fight.

-Some perks have been readjusted to be more balanced.

-Some aspects of the game have been rebalanced.

What's new in v.0.1.2.1? (Old version)

-Perks that modify your damage output now work correctly (and are actually quite effective)

-Stoneguards now only take 3 hits to take down, as opposed to 4 in the previous versions.

-Added tutorial quests. You should do these quests before playing any of the maps.

-Added some new tutorial pictures to make it (hopefully) more intuitive.

-Added HUD for EXP, mana orbs, and ability cooldowns.

-Added options to choose how many times a specific type of enemy should respawn in a map.

-Added a BOSS FIGHT map. (This person is deadly, be prepared before engaging)

-Make combat smoother. Now you will instantly go into attack mode when pressing 'A' or 'S'

-Rebalanced the game to make it easier overall.

-Split the game into 2 versions (web and downloadable)

-All Silverborns now have a hood with a cape to signify their nobility status.
